From event sponsorships and holiday toy drives to volunteering with local youth and acting as representatives on the Board, M Financial has been a committed and consistent partner of Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) for over six years.
In September 2024, M Financial served as the presenting sponsor of BBBS Columbia Northwest’s annual fundraising event—the Building Big Bridges Gala—where over 380 supporters gathered at the Hyatt Regency in Portland, Oregon, to celebrate the impact of mentoring. Donors, sponsors, friends, and community leaders contributed over $500,000—the largest amount ever raised at this annual event.
In addition to funding one-to-one mentorship programs in Portland and Southwest Washington, the funds raised at this event will be used to launch the new College Bigs and Community Bigs programs, enabling BBBS to support even more young people across the community.
M Financial also served as a corporate sponsor of the Annual Big Black-Tie Ball held at the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas, Texas, in November. M employees in Dallas were in attendance to celebrate and support the incredible services BBBS Lonestar provides local children.
As part of our continued support for BBBS, M Financial employees also participated in a holiday toy drive, contributing 180 gifts to help provide children and families in need with holiday gifts and essential supplies.
